67k points and what like $1100 lol, its hard getting around the ridiculous fees emirates charges on rewards.

so if I have no immediate travel plans for this year, is it still a good idea to transfer points to Emirates for later use? Do those miles expire with emirates? Thanks.

Is anyone waiting for a Sephora credit card review? Was looking at the announcement, but not a lot of details yet. Very interesting that they will have 3 tiers of cards.

I just product Changed my Venture to Venture One since I’ve pretty much stopped using it and been using my Amex Gold mostly. It’s a great card though.

Hey Credit Shifu, a good topic for you to consider covering:

Balancing the desire for access to new credit while juggling & weighing conflicting approval information from the Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, Wallet Hub, Nerd Wallet, Turbo (Intuit), Lending Tree and Experian apps. They are all pretty much recommending the same offers, and it’s good to remember they’re partnered with the issuers. There in it for themselves, not for your sake.

But it’s confusing when one’s approval odds listed are the opposite of another one’s.
To me, it’s crazy and I’m somewhat leary when one says, for instance, that I have Very Good & Excellent approval odds for Chase Sapphire Reserve and AMEX Platinum while the others say my approval odds are fair to low.

For what it’s worth I now prefer Experian’s app. Not only do they give your free FICO 8 score, their recommendations are consistent and balanced. I feel that if the credit card issuers are partnering with a major credit bureau’s app, I can feel more confident that my application through their app is more likely based on the cards that’s matched for my credit score. Just recently I was instantly approved for AMEX Gold Delta SkyMiles via Experian during this limited time 60000 mile offer after 2k spending in 3 months. Yeah, it was low hanging fruit, but after my first card (Capital One Platinum), it’s gratifying to quickly get a rewards card after only 4 months since Cap1 approved me, even if it not flexible rewards.

Never flew Emirates before. Would love to see their First Class suite!
But I’m sure I’d spend most of my time at the In Flight Bar 🤩🍸🍸🍸

If you can only carry one card on travel, out of all of your cards, which one would you carry?

Jiajian Hou I’d carry Amex gold or Amex Charles swab platinum card. But really depends on what ur doing or buying

Mr. SHIFU! do you think venture will ever become a premium card? The likes of Amex Plat, Chase Reserve, or Citi Prestige? Or even offering some benefits like the Amex Gold?

Is there a U.K version of this card or not?
